Time Line Therapy is a fantastic technique for letting go of negative emotions that hold us back and negatively impact our lives. We have all experienced anger, sadness, fear, hurt, guilt, shame and many more in our lives. Often though we don’t let go of these emotions and carry them around with us, even from events that happened many years ago. Its like the first time you were angered it opened a wound on your psyche or heart or soul or whatever resonates best for you. At all future events then, if you’ve not let go of that emotion then each further event pokes that wound, so that your response to something now is not relative to that one incident, but evokes a tidal wave of negative emotion with it and can cause you to react inappropriately. The purpose of TLT is to let go of that original emotion and all the pain associated with it, thus allowing you to let go of all the other negative emotion too. You still preserve the learnings but you let go of the negative emotion that only causes hurt and suffering in your life. TLT is also used for letting go of Limiting Decisions, removing Anxiety, Phobias and placing Goals in your future.
